Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Embrace, you will focus on collecting, enriching, and visualizing data. You will create reports and insights for the users of our software, enabling them to make strategic and tactical decisions based on analytical foundations. You will do this both for direct customer inquiries and product development. Additionally, we are constantly working to make our products smarter, and you can contribute to this by unlocking data and developing algorithms. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Insights team, working together on various (new) products and projects. You will have plenty of freedom and flexibility to shape your work. 

As a Data Analyst, you will: 

• Set up the ETL process to transform raw data into dimensional data models;
• Provide customers with insights through data on the use of one of our products;
• Collaborate with your colleagues to elevate the Power BI environment both internally and externally;
• Support the consultant in handling complex technical questions related to data analysis for clients and projects;
• Contribute to making our products smarter.

What we expect from you:

• You have strong analytical skills at all levels;
• You work well in a team and have excellent communication skills;
• You are capable of transforming abstract information into clear and intuitive dashboards;
• You are motivated to develop your skills in data science;
• You have experience with SQL, Python, and/or R;
• You have knowledge of Power BI or similar software;
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse or a comparable application for data processing and storage;
• Familiarity with Matomo or similar software, such as Google Tag Manager;
• You have two to five years of experience in a similar role;
• At least a higher vocational (HBO) or academic level of thinking, with demonstrable analytical skills and knowledge of statistics.
